Katherine is a character who has affected many characters and pissed off a lot of people. I'm cool with negative threads, but I'd personally prefer to engage in nuanced threads that break down the surface barriers that the show never delves into with Katherine and her relationships with others, and others and their relationship with Katherine. I'm not interested in purely antagonistic threads. IC • fighting Katherine is a skilled hand-to-hand fighter whose skill is only amplified by her vampire strength. She's incredibly cunning, always thinks ahead, and plays a hell of a mind game. She is over 530 years old and has been canonically defined as one of the strongest vampires in the series, so going up against her will be difficult based on her pure strength, speed, durability and skill alone. (Vampires who are younger than her will have difficulty overpowering her, no matter how canon likes to retcon its own rules, and witches who aren't practiced in their craft will barely leave a mark.) • injuries or death Happy with injuries, not so much with death since I'm #bitter. • timeline Season 2 and post-4x18, not season 5. I tend to ignore her human storyline as I believe the second portion of her human arc regresses her significantly. I'm happy to play human Katherine, but no to the Katherine who body-jacks Elena to get the Stefan d.
