[ this isn't the first time he's said "we're done" to her. she had hoped a few years ago would've been the last. she knows she's overstepped and destroyed something again, but it almost seems commonplace in deerington now. rather than try to fix it (she'd really just end up pushing him further away until he figures out how to block her), she follows his lead for once. ]
